Best family Dr I've ever had
I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, completed all the paperwork and waited 49 minutes to be seen. I was then informed the physicians assistant Melissa Fussel would not see me because I was late to my appointment. The front desk pulled the sign in sheet and went to inform Melissa Fussel, who still refused to treat me. Because of the incompetent staff member who informed Melissa Fussel I was late is the reason I waisted 49 minutes of my break from work is the reason I was not seen. I would NOT recommend to anyone. HORRIBLE experience and complete waist of time.
No...just no, no,no. I was a new patient and saw Dr. Mecca's "PA" Melissa who has the worst bedside manner, attitude and useless information. Treated me like I was an inconvenience to her super important day. She abruptly left the room as I was still speaking by saying "I have other patients to see" in a very rude tone. This human should work on her people skills.
This is the worst office I have ever been to. The front desk staff is absolutely terrible and they are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I work in a medical office and our doctors and administrators would be abhorred if we treated our patients the way I have been treated there. Both Carmen and Becca (I believe those are the names) are incredibly rude. When I was asked about my insurance they treated me like I was an idiot when, in fact, they are the ones who did not know what was going on with my insurance. Also when I asked to double check which pharmacy they sent a prescription to, the girl at the front (I believe her name is Becca) copped quite an attitude with me like it was inconvenient for her to do her job. I work front desk at a doctor's office and could not imagine treating my patients that way. As far as the medical care goes, the PA spent 5 minutes examining me and after completing my antibiotics, I am no better and fully intend on returning this afternoon to inform them of this and see what else they could possibly do for me. I also intend on relaying all of the above information to whatever doctor or PA examines me, as well as the office manager, today. I would highly recommend going to a different facility. I have only been going to MedCare because their hours are convenient for my work schedule.
Andrew has been sanctioned by the Georgia Medical Licensing Board for Misdiagnosing a Heart Condition as GERD; His listening skills are horrible. His diagnostic skills-he has none-severly needs improvement. His bottom line is the Almighty $$$$$.
The staff is fine and I've never seen Mecca, but Melissa is terrible. I was told I'm NOT the first to say this...take note Dr. Mecca
