I find the "owner" or whoever writing the responses for the less than stellar reviews to be inconsiderate. A common spoken thread is that the receptionist is rude. No one asked about conflict of interest or for Pro Bono assistance. As the "owner" replying, a professional would first apologize for the receptionist tone. As a business owner myself, I would have asked the receptionist to write an apology themselves as well. But I would never have any rude or inconsiderate people working for me either. Family law is an emotional feat as is. Have compassionate staff servicing the people. This will make for an easier transition to those attorneys who may be a little aloof. So quoting Abraham Lincoln in the fashion of "time is money" is inconsiderate as well. Wasted time can be money made, this true in many instances. However, still there has to be decorum when dealing with sensitive issues. So let me leave the "owner" with this quote by dear old Abe: "Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it nothing can succeed."
Update: They are so hard up for reviews that they try and attack me personally. Ethics, morals and characters are what counts. My business does not operate off reviews. The website that my daughter created for me for mother's day has absolutely no bearing on my business. It was a warm and thoughtful gesture from my kids. So you can jump in the deepest part of the toxic pool in which you crawled out of. And for your information my business is not longer in GA "dearests" the number has obvious changed. So before we have this back and forth childish exchange I can come by your office and teach you and your receptionist some manners. God knows you can use some. And just to let you know, I, along side my husband, run a multi-million company but I sit modestly right under your nose, greeting people with kindness and sharing good positive energy. Let me know if you want to meet.
Called about a consultation because my friends ex-husband wasn't following the custody order in the divorce and got top knotch service. The receptionist was very polite and understanding as I tried to explain the issue and my concerns. She was very professional and seemed to know her stuff. I was extremely impressed considering I had read other reviews and now I think its possible these were from the opposite side not getting what they wanted. I have recommended him and his staff to my friend who intends use him in the future! Great job! Highly recommend calling!
Has to be the worst lawyer i have ever used! Never returned my phone calls. He got all the info he did tell the judge wrong. I got a tpo against my ex wife for my kids and he made the judge think i was being a vindictive dad trying to keep my kids from the mother. And then when i tried to talk to him after court he ignored me like i didnt matter once the case was over. Plus when i was talking in his office he was super rude to his employees. This guy is horrible and doesnt know how to do his job!
Mr. Aiken and his staff are great. Going through a divorce can be a very difficult life change however Mr. Aiken has made me comfortable enough to know that I have hired someone who is very knowledgeable, exceptionally experienced and upfront. Mr. Aiken always gives me the peace of mind that I need while dealing with myriad issues that comes along with this type of life change. To date my experience with Mr. Aiken and his staff has consisted of pure ease and professionalism.
For the masses, if you are unhappy where you spend your money, remove it and yourself. You have a right to be treated with kindness and respect. And a receptionist with a HORRIBLE personality or attitude should be not be in the profession of "welcoming" and servicing the public.
Good attorney and the fees are fair. Divorce and custody battles can be a very ugly thing and often stressful; it’s nice to know that there are attorneys out there such as attorney akin that do their very best to insure and protect their clients’ needs and wants. I would recommend attorney akin to anyone wanting results with their case.
