Needs to be open until labor day. Georgia is still hot after July 31. Pool is clean and safety is first.
Been coming to this park since I was a kid. Fond memories of football and baseball games. There are tennis courts and open fields for you to play in. Of course, it's kid and pet friendly so bring your family and friends and enjoy everything it has to offer. There's also the public pool, which is open during the summer season. Parking can be hectic because Groom Transportation often uses the lot as overflow parking. Enjoy!
Can't really rate any park in Columbus very high. The city has all the police concentrate on handing out speeding tickets on the highway instead of patrolling parks and neighborhoods in town.
Small playground, baseball fields, picnic tables, pool with kiddie area, bathrooms. All the basics.
The lady at the window let us pay $10 and didn't even bother to tell us that the kiddie area of the pool was shut down! I brought my little girls up here to have a great time but instead we sat there for an hour in the hot sun after the people who work there kept telling us it would only be "a few minutes"!! And we couldn't even get a refund! I will NOT be coming back there again, especially due to the inconsiderate employees there!
