Great stop off to walk the dogs,use the picnic tables and take a driving break. Clean facilities, nice staff to assist in planning a Georgia stay or vacation.
My family and I were travelling from Florida to Toronto and decided to stop at this visitor center since we have never been to Georgia. We were greeted by the warmest people ever, Laura Book and Glenda Berstead. They came right up to us and began to tell us about all of the different attractions that Georgia has to offer. They handed us a little information care package and chatted with us about Georgia. I wanted to leave this review because I have never been treated with such hospitality and care in any other visitor center. These women really wanted to make it a wonderful experience for us and I am so thankful that we came in. Thank you ladies!
Quite place to park overnight. Sign says that there is no overnight parking, but we were one of five parked. Off main road so no traffic noise. Clean facility, with plenty of information.
No restrooms at night...the only visitor center in the USA who close the restrooms after dark... At least put a sign...!
Nice facility but only open during normal business hours. Not sure if bathroom facilities are open later
