When it was run by Ron and Kim Jackson, it was a welcoming place. Since the involvement of United Way, it became less of a Christian establishment and more political.
Chaplain Neil Harris and Pastor Chris are both wonderful. I contacted Chap during my last incarceration while deep in my addiction. He made sure that I had shelter and didn't have to be homeless anymore. The fact that I had stability helped me and played a huge roll in my sobriety. I can say without a doubt that this ministry saved my life.
