My brother and I inherited a chihuahua from a family that could not afford a vet and he had been hit by a car. They took him to an Army medic that sutured him and set his broken leg as best he could. I got the name of another vet and they took care of some health issues but never x-rayed his leg or hip. Rocky, our little guy, was in pain and had very little desire to go out or do much of anything. We brought him to Double Churches and saw Dr Boone who did x-rays and found he also had broken his pelvis as result the accident. Also had hip dysplasia from irregular gait. He referred us for another consult, who verified Dr. Boone's opinion that surgery at his age is not a good option. Dr Boone put him on pain mgt. meds and we have our Rocky back to enjoying walks and activities. He also did his dental which had been done at previous vet and he required a lot more work due to inadequate cleaning and extractions previously done.

All the staff are professional and caring. I, my brother, Rocky, and soon to be, Mazie our new little girl, love this practice. We have been asked by other pet owners why we go to DC because their prices are higher. We both say you get what you pay for, which is the best possible care in Columbus.
We just got a dachshund from Animal Ark and we called Double Churches and Megan got her in within 48 hrs. for initial appt.
Rocky saw Dr. Wylie as well and she was equally as thorough and obviously cared about our little guy.
Dr. Boone was a wonderful doctor. He went above and beyond to make sure my dogs surgery was a good experience. He was very informative and explained the procedure so I could understand what would take place. Dr. Boone always kept her safety his top priority. The nurse called me as soon as my dog was in recovery to let me know she was awake and surgery was finished. Thank you to everyone they treated my dog as tho she was one of their personal pets.
We adopted our pup from Paws in January and they recommended Double Churches. We have been seeing Dr. Boone ever since. He and the staff work with Kiki very patiently. She's a 40 lb Border Collie that can't sit still whenever there are people or other pets in the area; just wants to play! And they do a great job with her. Very pleased with the facility and all the staff.
I just recently took my little guy to DC Animal Clinic as I was not happy with the clinic I had been using. The staff was very nice and accommodating. T he clinic is very clean and neat. I was taken to an exam room within 5 minutes of my appointment time and they started to work on my little guy's exam right away. Dr Boone was very thorough and explained everything as he did the exam. I have been there 3 times now and I've been in and out in an hour or less every time. So far I can't say enough nice things about the clinic.
