This is probably my second favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus. The food was good.
Great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The daily catch is always excellent and yes, you can actually make a reservation, most restaurants no longer do that. Very good place for a small group party up to 30 people with a private room. Enjoy!!
When my husband I arrived the hostess was bussing tables and it took about 15 minutes before ever returning to the hostess stand. She wasn't friendly. She didn't greet us and never smiled. She just said 2 and walked us to our table. Our server came quickly and got our drinks but then 10 minutes later another server showed up asking for or drink order. She seemed annoyed when we told her we already have a server and our drinks. There was a blonde server that was openly expressing how much she is over this place. She was speaking to maybe a manager about how she's done with this place and openly expressing wanting to seek new employment. It was awkward that she was doing this right next to our table and it was our first time there. I read other reviews and they state excellent service so maybe I just went on a bad night.
2nd time there. Food was good!! Server was very friendly. Good atmosphere. Learned veal is good.
My biggest issue was with the service. Pretty sure my server was the bartender and she was absolutely amazing. She also seemed to be the only person happy to be working there.
Small restaurant inconspicuous in the center of the plaza. Greeted very well as soon as you enter the restaurant. The place is not at all fancy but it is cozy and welcoming. Ordered mussels for and appetizer and the sauce was amazing. Th calamari is not greasy and the breading is light. Seafood melody with pasta and white wine sauce was delicious and plentiful. Chicken Parmesan looked like a half chicken was served on your plate and the sauce was not at all overwhelming. I will definitely be coming back to this little mom and pop restaurant.
The only Italian cuisine in Columbus! Definitely a place to take your date or the whole family. With a full bar to compliment any choice of dinner or lunch. Great service. Great selection. Best of all...Great prices. Food lovers will be certain to enjoy this secret!
