The food is always good at Mabella's. The service is excellent. The only issue I have is we are always put on couples alley. The tables are to close together and you can hear everybody's conversation.
Amazing atmosphere, service, and food. My girlfriend and I are new to town and meeting a local friend there for dinner, and were immediately greeted by the owner and his family. They were super friendly, and gave us suggestions on what their favorite dishes were. The owners wife mentioned how delicious the cheesecake was, and my girlfriend said that that was her favorite dessert. We were then seated inside, and ate our AMAZING food--which by far one of the best steaks I've ever had. The waiter then brought out a slice of cheesecake that was sent to us by the owner and his family, on-the-house, because they knew how much we would enjoy it. Service, and the personable staff & owners are what make good restaurants GREAT, and this is undeniably one of those places!
Loud atmosphere, hard to talk with our party. Food failed to impress and was very pricey. I had the Angel hair pasta with shrimp - lemon sauce was over powering and very watery. House salad was served and was okay -not extraordinary. Others in our group had the mushroom ravioli which was dry, burned grilled asparagus and farfalle which had no flavor.The bread was the best item of the whole meal. The manager came out and asked how our food was and we gave our honest opinion - he said they would adjust our bill but only adjusted one person of our 6 party group. If you're going to charge these prices, please ensure the quality matches. Sub-par experience.
The service was impeccable, everyone in the family had a different dish and they were all great. The ambience is very soft and romantic. I highly recommend this place.
Very disappointing experience - our first time to eat here and we were excited to try them out since we had seen such great reviews.
